Locks
The zipper lock is a TSA approved combination lock. Attached to the bag and tucks away in it own pocket when not in use.
The shoulder strap lock is a combination locking carabiner securely attached to the bag. When unlocked, you can easily remove the shoulder strap to wrap around a chair or table then reattach the strap to the lock. Preventing the grab-and-go theives.
Materials
The zippers are YKK Double Coil Puncture Resistant Zippers. Specifically design to prevent the "ball point pen" access hack.

The exterior shell is 1680 D nylon. 1680D nylon is an extremely durable, high-tenacity, basket-weave synthetic fabric designed for superior abrasion, tear, and water resistance. Weighing roughly 11.3-12 oz/yd,this heavy-duty material features a polyurethane (PU) coating and Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish, making it ideal for backpacks. This material also provides slash and cut resistance.

The backpack is double constructed, meaning it has not only an exterior shell nylon, but also the interior polyester lining.
The shoulder strap is also made from the same heavy duty 1680 denier nylon, but is built with padding for comfort.
